He has been active in space communication and education for the past 5 years through videos, infographics, visual imagery, etc. In 2018, Aakash founded Planet Aakash School, an outer space education portal that strives to inspire people to keep looking up at stars. In 2020, He received the 24 under 24 title award for astronomy communication and education from an American globally-active STEM organization, The Mars Generation.
