Niharika was born in Delhi, but her early years were marked by the profound loss of her father. This loss, though deeply felt, became a pivotal moment that shaped her resilience and determination. Life took a positive turn when her mother remarried, and they moved to the serene hills of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. It was here that Niharika gained not just a new father but an elder brother as well. The unconditional love, support, and education they provided laid the foundation for the independent and confident woman she is today.
Academically, Niharika was always a high achiever, often topping her class and finding solace in the pages of books. Yet, alongside her love for learning, she harbored a passion for fashion, inspired by the exceptional Heidi Lamar, who was both an actress and an inventor. Despite her dreams of pursuing fashion in college, Niharika chose to follow the path of science, leading her to study computer science and engineering at VIT Vellore. During her time there, she maintained high grades and secured a good placement but never let go of her fashion aspirations. Collaborating with the college’s photography club, she began to explore modeling, a passion that would later turn into a career.
During her second year at university, Niharika met her husband, Ishaan Kumar. Their journey together has been nothing short of extraordinary, and in 2022, they tied the knot. Ishaan is the most loving and supportive partner Niharika could ask for and her biggest cheerleader, always encouraging her to pursue her dreams.
In 2019, Niharika moved to Hyderabad to embark on her professional journey in the tech industry. She began her career as a software developer at GAP Inc., and later transitioned to New Rocket, a US-based company. With a total of five years of experience in the tech field, Niharika has built a solid foundation in software development, proving her capability in a fast-paced and ever-evolving industry. Alongside her thriving tech career, she never lost sight of her passion for fashion and modeling.
Niharika’s first modeling job was with a brand called Bombae, based in Hyderabad. Since then, she has worked with a multitude of renowned brands such as PMJ Jewellers, Narayani Silks, Kalki, Neerus India, Geethika Kanumilli, Goyaz Jewellery, Seharre by Sahiti Reddy, Visista Gold and Diamonds. She has also graced prestigious runway shows including the SIIMA Awards and walked for celebrated designer Shravan Kummar. Her transition into commercial modeling marked the beginning of a flourishing second career.
In addition to her modeling work, Niharika has made a name for herself as a social media influencer.
