In an interview for the upcoming web series ‘Hunter- Tootega Nahi Todega,’ film and television actor Rahul Dev discussed his role as a police officer and his time spent collaborating with Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty.
When Rahul was asked about the show, he said: “Being a part of the show ‘Hunter – Tootega Nahi Todega’, in which I play a Haryanvi cop, has been an incredible opportunity for me in its entirety. Each and every character has been written very skillfully. My protagonist is a quick-thinking head who adheres strictly to his personal code of conduct and keeps his own rule book. The show has a compelling narrative, with characters that adhere to stereotypes but are presented in unexpected ways. Can’t wait for audiences to experience this heart-pounding adventure for themselves!”
Rahul has worked in both the television and film industries. He has experience working in Hindi in addition to a number of regional languages. His first film in Hindi was titled Champion, and some of his other films include Asoka, Indian, Narsimha, Awaara Paagal Deewana, Agnipath, and Torbaaz. Champion was also his debut film. Rahul also did a Bangladeshi film ‘Bikkhov’.
He appeared in a number of films, including “Devon Ke Dev..Mahadev,” “C.I.D.,” and others, and he was a contestant on the popular reality show “Bigg Boss 10.”
After appearing alongside Suniel in films such as “Awaara Paagal Deewana,” Rahul is excited to have the opportunity to perform alongside him once more in “Hunter.”
As he had previously stated: “Anna and I go back a long way. He is someone I hold in high regard, and I feel a strong connection to him. He is an honest supporter of mine and one of the few people in the business with whom I maintain a close relationship. Due to the fact that both of our characters are at odds with each other throughout the series, the close bond that we share is both beneficial and a little bit challenging. The comments received on my performance have been overwhelmingly complimentary, with my director and Anna himself providing the highest praise. As a result, I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of ‘Hunter.’ “.
Produced by Yoodlee Films, which is the film division of Saregama India Limited, and directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, the episodic series consists of a total of eight parts. It will make its debut on Amazon miniTV on March 22nd, so stay tuned for that!
