Amidst bulldozer politics in the country which is being highly highlighted as it is secularly believed that no action to remove encroachment from the roads can be taken in a secular country if encroachment happened in a minority dominated area, or sheltered illegal immigrants, a grim news has come to make us contemplate the plight of a girl child in India. A Muslim rapist Firoz who brutally raped and killed a 4years old girl in MP, has been awarded imprisonment of 20 years, instead of Death sentence earlier imposed upon him by MP high court. As Supreme Court quashed death sentence stating a quote of British novelist Oscar Wilde that says, “every sinner has a future”. How shameful it is! Now the misinterpreted quotes will help judges take decisions pertaining to such grisly crimes like rape and murder of kids without a logical epiphany. There is no doubt after this judgement why judiciary is gradually becoming an unfunny comedy in the country. Even Oscar Wilde would laugh at this decision, reprimanding these illogical judges sitting in the chairs that hold a responsibility to give justice, for misunderstanding his quote and misplacing it with this ghoulish act of rape done by lecherous Firoz.

It’s the right time to question this insanity from the logical parts of our minds as to why a sinner has future but the victim doesn’t even have a right to justice in a country where they say only democracy rules. A kid is raped mercilessly and killed by Firoz, and then the rapist finds a lawyer who helps him get acquitted with the help of some quotes, and then he wishes the rapist to live a long life, affronting the ordeal the girl unfortunately faced, and happily crushed the little shards of humanity which we think still exists in this world. No iota of shame can overtly be seen in any face belonging to this judgement.

In a span of few months, many such disturbing cases have been reported, and dazed us. However, what was more ghoulish were the Political statements of some politicians who seem to be unfamiliar with humanity and abandoned sanity decades ago. Starting from a female politician Mamata Banerjee who is a Chief minister of west Bengal which is currently being known as a land of chaos, and violence, has recently given a snide remark on a rape and murder of a 14years girl happened in Bengal which must have attracted flak but sadly, it didn’t bother feminists, and those who always protest against statement over their clothes. CM said that if a girl was having an affair, everybody knows it, then what could she do about it, and how can it be a rape!

She inhumanely not only doubted the credibility of a gruesome rape, but also she blamed the victim who had gone through a horrifying ordeal of rape and then was burnt alive by monsters. What could be more shameful than this statement of a woman who neither took any action against the rapists, nor sympathized with the victim’s family? However, these abhorrent statements are actually given time to time by politicians in order to help their people involved in these heinous crimes elude punishment. Otherwise why CM Banerjee who deprecated this rape and murder of a minor girl, would send her delegates in Uttar Pradesh to disparage Yogi govt over Hathras rape case. It’s utterly despicable to witness how politicians are agog to pervert politics to a level where even rapes are politically used and the victims are sympathized by them only when the rapists belong to different sect, and political parties.

This is how dirty politics is pervading the air of this country where politicians are evincing their latent desires to normalize rapes and murders of minor girls and boys by giving awful statements about why rape happens. A few months ago, a Congress stated that if woman can’t resist a rape, she must enjoy it. It is apparently embodying his unapologetic demeanor about his opinions on rape and why he finds joy in such statements. On the contrary, Congress claims to respect women, and say it has always worked to empower women, however they don’t speak the truth why this respect is limited to Gandhi family. If this statement was of a Bjp leader, all throats of unemployed feminists, politicians with ineffaceable shamelessness glistening in their eyes, and their friendly journalists  would start to create tumultuous outrage, but this time it was of a Congress leader, no outrage was created.

This is how these politicians with an ancient mentality about women, are insinuating the astounding fall of  humanity and sanity in men who are obsessed with living lavish lives by bootlicking Gandhis. Their tongues are extremely obnoxious and they know no limits of exuding negativity and insensitivity repeatedly in the society as they are well acquainted with a fact that no action can be taken, no outrage will happen, no feminist will protest against them. Moreover, even journalists who are generally paid for yelling and spreading lies, won’t utter a word. This is the system Congress has created in decades which is not going to shrivel so easily until it is hammered, and purged fully.

It is evidently not new thing which is happening at this time, political parties savoring lavishness of power, have showed their effrontery umpteen times without hesitation, let alone shame or guilt. Even the crumbling Samajwadi party is infamous for such audacity which brazenly justifies the rapes, once said over a rape case that boys are prone to make mistakes and the politics cackled with these leaders who strenuously attempt to convince public that they will ensure safety and security. Although Irony laughs at these leaders uncontrollably. Politicians whose families are safe and relish parliamentary hospitality, revelries and privileges, are profusely contributing in piling up this hateful mentality toward girls, outvying others continuously. Recently, one of the most abominable remarks was heard in Rajasthan legislative assembly where a Congress leader has jokingly said that Rajasthan is no-1 in rape cases as it has always been a state of men, and instantly the house was echoing thunderously with the loud cackles of leaders sitting inside. This is the new low they have stooped. They are not ashamed of what they say about rapes, justifying them by implying the uncontrollable manhood, and laughing obnoxiously in order to delineate how educated they are, and still can’t be sane enough to understand what rape is. Moreover, politicians are enamored of making headlines, but what is more terrible, is Indian media which doesn’t stand against these leaders, fearing their hidden source of income and political benefits, and now it is sufficiently prevalent for outraging selectively on the behest of their political masters.
