BJP Foundation Day- PM Modi Addresses Party Workers

It was the 42nd Foundation Day on Wednesday, April 06, 2022, for the Bharatiya Janata Party, where Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi addressed the party workers, Members of Parliament, and Members of the Legislative Assembly. He said that the party has been working tirelessly to spread and strengthen the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India).

The continuous fight between the parties goes on, as the party speakers cannot be entirely vocal about their feelings and defame someone or some party. Our Prime Minister, in a thinly veiled comment, said that the family-led parties, (specifically or not so explicitly pointing to a party) have never allowed the youth of the nation to make progress. The Election Commission shall not be able to comment on this, they thought. He further said that the BJP party should be proud that it is the only party that still makes efforts to tackle this problem and alert the country about it.

Importance Of This year’s Foundation Day

40 Years ago, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani launched Bharatiya Janata Party, the former being the party president. Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi stated in his address that the 42nd Foundation Day of the largest party of the country was very important for three different reasons, which were-

· The first reason for the importance was that their celebration fell in relation to the 75th anniversary of the country’s Independence Day.

· The second reason is that global conditions are fast-changing, and the world order is shifting. This is very important as change is required to sustain the changing order.

· The third reason is also critical. The BJP’s double-engine Governments reappeared in four states a few weeks ago. Double Engine Governments are the type of Governments where the state and Central Governments collaborate and cooperate in running the state. This meant more work for the party workers and higher-ups.

The party has various events planned during the week, culminating on April 14 with the Ambedkar Jayanti observance. The BJP, India’s most prominent political party in terms of both representation in parliament and party membership, has gone a long way from its inception in the early 1980s. There were rallies and special events all over the country where different leaders released different statements, all of which were in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party. They said that for them, the national interest is paramount. It is the country’s only political party that prioritizes the country and seeks to reach out to those on the bottom rung of society.

Prime Minister Modi also emphasized the work and the Government’s efforts to assist the impoverished. He said that today, the entire world sees India providing free rations to 80 Crore poor and underprivileged people in such difficult times. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the National Government is spending over Rs. 3.5 lakh Crores to ensure that the poor do not go to bed hungry during the worst crisis in a century.
