This banana bread recipe is one of my favorites. It is healthy and can be had any time during the week. It is made from a combination of bananas and nuts. In this recipe, you will need: three to five medium-size to large bananas, at different times in the year (depending on your local weather), pitted and washed. You will also need three to five cups of whole wheat bread flour, brown sugar, organic brown sugar, unrefined natural unsweetened peanut or canola oil, baking powder, zucchini, and vanilla. If you want to make this recipe nutritionally more viable, consider using a no-sugar-added sweetener instead of adding sugar.
The best banana bread without eggs is made by steeping the bananas in water for about 15 minutes. Afterward, soak the bananas in water for up to an hour. Remove the bananas from the soaking water when it is soft but not dry.
Banana Bread Recipe (Vegan)
- Whole-grain flour
- Banana (4-6)
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp organic raw sugar
- 1 cup of walnuts (or peanuts if not using walnuts),
- 1 Tbsp. of olive oil
To this banana bread recipe you will add: One cup of whole grain flour, brown sugar, organic raw sugar, bananas, walnuts (or peanuts if using walnuts), and oil or butter. You can use any type of oil or butter. The ingredients will be mixed together. At this point, the bananas can be used. However, if using bananas, only use them after they are soft because they will easily burst into strings.
Next, you will add: Two cups of water, a cup of unsweetened peanut or canola oil, a cup of raw or halved walnuts, a quarter teaspoon of vanilla, a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of nutmeg, and optional, a pinch of Cayenne pepper. You can taste the other ingredients and determine your choice of spices to use. In a saucepan, heat the vegan milk (your favorite type) to boiling. Add the bananas, sugar, spices, and walnuts. Cover the lid of the saucepan and place in the microwave for about a minute.
Once the ingredients have been combined, you will then fold in the cooked mixture. At this point, you should check the total time of your recipe to see how long it took you. Using a clock or timer will help keep you on schedule.
For the last step, you will fold in your prepared banana bread mix. Do not forget to cover the lid of the saucepan. Remove the lid and place your pie in the oven. If your pie comes out ready, you can now remove it from the oven.
Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes will be enough for preparing this delicious and filling breakfast.
