On Tuesday, Britain reported 12,282 cases of COVID-19 and 616 deaths within 28 days of a positive test, according to the government’s official data.

COVID has engulfed much of Great Britain’s suburbs during the holiday season. The government restrictions have helped scale down the death toll, but infection continues to rise.

The government is scared of local transmission during the second wave. The social-distancing measures continue to go on amid objections from Anti-Mask protestors.
