Vitamin C

Fruits are a good source of a list of essential nutrients that are not consumed in adequate quantity in daily diet, including Vitamin C, folate, potassium, and antioxidants. It is easy to include fruits in daily routine and it has enormous health benefits. One can have a low risk of chronic diseases by consuming fruits every day. Fruits contain dietary fiber which helps to reduce the blood cholesterol levels along with minimizing the heart disease risk.

Blueberries contain high quantity of antioxidants and are known to boost the immune system. One study showed that blueberries when consumed daily protects from viral infections.
