On Monday, Argentina recorded 8,317 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the national count to 1,250,500.
Meanwhile, 350 more deaths were recorded, bringing the nationwide tally to 33,908, it added.
According to the ministry, 4,900 patients are being hospitalized for the disease in intensive care units, while 1,073,590 people have recovered.
Buenos Aires, the largest Argentine province, has so far registered 572,902 cases, the worst among all regions.
As of Monday, the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, including the capital, went from Obligatory and Preventive Social Isolation, which has been in effect since March 20, to a new stage of Preventive and Obligatory Social Distancing that will go through November.
