French Prime Minister Jean Castex arrived on Friday afternoon on the scene of the stabbing that took place earlier in the day near the former office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, images on BFM television showed.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo were with Castex.
