Breaking News: Bottas Wins Russian Grand Prix 2020 at Sochi

The gripping Russian Grand Prix race at Sochi saw Valtteri Bottas from Mercedes emerge victorious, much to the disappointment of Hamilton fans who had been eager for Hamilton to meet Schumacher’s Record.

The second place was won by Max Verstappen of Redbull, Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes came third despite the double penalty earned before the race, Perez of Racing Point came fourth in the race and Daniel Ricciardo of Renault placed fifth.

This was the second podium won by Bottas at Sochi.

Lewis Hamilton was served with a double penalty before the race.

The number of laps was 53 at the Sochi circuit in Russia and the provisional standings are as follows:
