Match Rating: 3.75/5. AJ Style is the best wrestler in WWE at present. This match would’ve been a 4 star match if Metalik had a few believable pin fall attempts. Never the less, a really good match. AJ Styles is brilliant in the ringl
Styles cheapshots Lince Dorado after and gives him a Styles Clash.
Shorty G is watching a monitor backstage and Corbin asks if it sucks seeing himself on the sidelines and not challenging for the IC Title. Gable doesn’t want to hear it after Corbin’s short jokes in the past, but Corbin says he was always his friend and was only using that to motivate him. He believes Shorty G deserves more opportunities. Shorty suggests it’s only a way for him to take out Riddle. Corbin says there’s a king’s ransom out for anyone who can prove Riddle doesn’t belong on SmackDown, and it’s something to think about.
We get a recap of the Bar Fight between Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. Jeff says Sheamus has been a thorn in a side for a while and he’s had to remind himself how bad things could be at times, but Jeff says beating Sheamus in the Bar Fight shows that he’s on the right path. He’s an alcoholic, but he’s a loving father and a WWE superstar, getting to perform i this ring for the fans. He won’t let us down again. Out comes King Corbin.
Corbin says his head is going to explode from having to listen to Jeff. Jeff is known for taking things to the extreme, but now he’s whining and he needs to shut up and deal with it. Corbin’s kingdom has turned into an insane asylyum. He then says he’s disappointed in Jeff because he should want to be in the king’s good graces. But he’s more concerned about the 12 steps to recovery. Gulak attacks him from behind.
Drew Gulak vs. King Corbin
Riddle comes out for a distraction, but Corbin is able to survive and hit the End of Days on Gulak.
Winner: King Corbin
Match Rating: 2/5. King Corbin is boring. He needs a change of character. I would have liked Drew Gulak winning this match.
After the match, Riddle attacks Corbin and gets the knee to the face. Shorty G comes out and hits a Rolling German Suplex on Riddle and the two walk off together.
Big E vs. The Miz
Big E wins with the Stretch Muffler submission.
Winner: Big E
Match Rating: 3.5/5. I am looking forward to see Big E as a singles wrestler. He is talented, and could be an excellent main event player.
Sheamus says he was surrounded in his bar fight because he was fighting not only Jeff but alcohol. He then says Jeff Hardy isn’t his problem anymore and that’s bad news for the SmackDown locker room, because now, he’s their problem.
Lacey Evans vs. Naomi
Naomi counters the Woman’s Right into a pin for the win.
Match Rating: 1/5. Short match to give Naomi a victory. I liked the finish.
Mandy Rose and Otis are making date preparations and Otis booked a spot at his favorite BBQ place. THe two get ready and will prepare. Sonya Deville doesn’t look happy in the background.
Sonya attacks Mandy while she’s doing her makeup. Mandy then proceeds to cut off some of Mandy’s hair. Sonya says Mandy ruined her life and then kicks her again. Soya then gets a razor before officials stop her. Otis eventually comes to her aide.
Morrison and Miz get interviewed with everything taking place in the background and they make fun of the situation. Tucker tells them to leave.
Bayley (C) vs. Nikki Cross – SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley wins with her Face Buster.
Match Rating: 3/5. Good match, not great.
After the match, Nikki shoves Alexa before walking to the back. Then, the lights go out. The Fiend is in the ring with Alexa. He then takes her out with the Mandible Claw as SmackDown goes off the air.
