Covid-19 Cases in India Near 2 Million Mark, Recoveries Cross 1 Million

The total number of covid-19 cases in India is nearing the 2 Million mark and stands at 18,55,745. Fortunately, the number of recoveries is also high with 12,30,509 recorded so far. There are 1,364 cases per million of the population.

The number of deaths due to COVID-19 was recorded to be 38,938 today.

The union territory Lakshadweep is the only place in India to have had 0 cases as of now.

India stands third in the world rankings of number of covid-19 cases, after USA and Brazil.

The people have been adopting Ayurveda practices to ensure good health of the lungs and improving immunity. The Ayush Ministry has been providing guidance on the same and encouraged people to add certain food items that have been known to benefit the lungs and immunity since time immemorial. There has also been a spike in the number of yoga sessions being conducted all over the country, as citizens have turned to Yoga exercises to improve overall health and well being.
