Top three Partnerships between Virat and Dhoni

3. India vs New Zealand 2016, 5 match ODI series:

In 2016 New Zealand team faced a huge defeat in the Test Series against team India and they were ready to bounce back in the One day International series against team India, after their poor performance in the first two ODI matches they visitors came back sharply and won the next two One day International matches in Delhi and in Ranchi and level the series with 2 games apiece.

In that match, Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to bat first and, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli gave a great start to the Indian team and, after the few wickets fall, Dhoni decided to walk out at the No.4 spot and in that match, Dhoni and Virat contributed a 71 run partnership and on the basis of the partnership team, India managed to reach 269 runs against the Kiwis.

In that final match, Indian bowlers also put a brilliant performance and bundle out them in just 79 runs and team India won the series by 3-2.
