Simple Recipe for a Quick Sandwich at Home

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4th capsicum (green bell pepper)
  • 1/2 tomato 
  • 3 cheese cubes (not mozarella, plain cheese)
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp butter/clarified butter (ghee)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

  • Grate the carrot.
  • Chop the onion into into really small fine pieces.
  • Repeat the same with the capsicum and tomato.
  • Grate the cheese
  • Heat 1 tsp of oil on the pan.
  • Add all the veggies together and stir them well for 7-8 min (until the rawness goes).
  • Add 1/4 tsp salt once it’s just about cooked – the cooked veggies need to be fairly soft and yet crunchy.
  • Add the grated cheese and mix it with the veggies till it melts and blends well.
  • Meanwhile, get the bread ready. Coat the bread slices with some clarified butter/regular butter on both the sides. 
  • Heat the slices on a pan till the bread is golden-brown.
  • Now put the bread slices on a plate (1 on top of the other) and fill it with the vegetable mix in the middle
  • Serve with ketchup or a side of fries.
