Bored at home and want to help make a new-to-world product? Fledging needs your help!

Fledging: Sign up here to help us make a new-to-world headphones product

The world is full of bad products. It’s full of decent products, too. And it’s full of a lot of wasted effort.

It should only be full of amazing products.

Fledging’s passionate about developing our next exciting product the right way – by asking people like you how they use their current products and what they would love to see in a new product. We only want to make a product that the world actually needs.

Which means that you’re in charge and we need to listen to you!

What the heck is Customer Discovery?

It’s a process for listening to customers before we build something. Businesses don’t typically do this, or if they do, it’s just confirmation bias. A great Customer Discovery process helps us avoid making something no one wants.

Legendary entrepreneur Steve Blank of AOL and Rise of the Rest success says it best:

“Teams that build continuous customer discovery into their DNA will become smarter than their investors, and build more successful companies.”

What’s the product?

Well, we don’t want to bias you too much, so all we can say is that it’s related to headphones but is entirely new to the world.

What all is involved in a Customer Discovery interview?

Thirty minutes of your time on a video call.

We prefer face-to-face so that we can get to know you a bit. Too much business is done on the end of email when really, amazing products are all about connecting people with people.

We’ll get to know you better, and then ask you some questions about how you use headphones today, and then tell you a little about our idea, and then ask you some questions about our idea.

I’m in! How do I sign up?

Oh yeah, when is this product being developed or launched?

Well, that depends an awful lot on what we learn from you. Fledging likes to work smart and move fast. We do want to launch sometime in 2020 if our research holds up.

The Fledging Team thanks you for your time and we look forward to learning from you.
