Here are the results of the January 24, 2020 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Roman Reigns and The Usos vs. King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
During the match, Jimmy Uso was injured by Corbin’s crew and had to leave the match. But he eventually returned for the finish. Roman and Corbin brawls in the crowd, and back in the ring, Jimmy Uso hits a splash on Robert Roode for the win.
Winners: Roman Reigns and The Usos
Michael Cole brings out Lacey Evans and she talks about her match against Bayley. She calls Bayley a bully and says that a leader needs to step up and defeat her. She also talks about her father passing from depression and addiction, and she talks about being an inspiration to her daughter and others.
Eventually, Bayley comes out and attacks her from behind, asking Lacey where her daughter is in the process.
Carmella is backstage and she talks about why she should be the favorite going into the Rumble match. She lists her accomplishments before Dana Brooke says we’ve seen her Wikipedia page. Brawling is going on in the background and it’s Evans and Carmella.
Fire and Desire vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross
The match gets thrown out early when Bayley and Evans come back out and brawl in the ring.
Elias and Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro
Nakamura tries a chair attack, but Elias cuts him off. Strowman hits a running powerslam for the win.
Winners: Elias and Braun Strowman
Big E is seen rubbing oil on himself backstage and he tells Kofi that he can’t be eliminated if he’s greasy.
Kofi talks about Miz and Morrison needing to back up their big talk.
Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison
Morrison wins with Starship Pain as Kofi is distracted outside.
Winner: John Morrison
